That's it?

Had to play it twice to make sure I didn't accidentally end the game prematurely the first time around. With only 1 level, I wouldn't call this a game at all. Sound was terrible as were the visuals. "Trippyland" was just ridiculous looking. "Story" was meaningless. The "shifting" mechanics added nothing enjoyable.

Also, the VERY first platform can't be jumped on because it's supposed to be too high, but the one after it can... even though they're both EXACTLY the same height? derp.

Wish I had some kind words... sorry.

Wallross responds:

Yeah, it's short. But it's short because we had one hell of a time limit, and it didn't really allow for much more. We could have had the level be twice as long, but because we had to draw everything twice, we couldn't.

Good... overall.

Graphics & sound are just awesome... love the mood of this game! Controls kinda blow though... especially the jumping. Would be REALLY nice if you could turn around mid-air a little easier. Hard mode is TOO hard... there's "need skill" and then there's "die, die, die till you get lucky" which is no fun... and games should be fun. Normal is too easy though and has very little action... there's this whole "combo" system... but then there's only like 2 times to really get to have fun with it. Game was way too short... walking across the screen shouldn't be considered a "level".

Great!

Well... until it froze on me anyway during level 6.

My only gripe is that getting too much firepower decreases the rate of fire too much, making me actually avoid getting more after a certain point. Oh... and enemy fire is VERY hard to see with all the pixels flying around. Other than those 3 things... tons of fun! Love the voice in the background.

I'll be back to play more when you fix the freezing issues.

More Frustrating than Fun

Really tried to give it a chance... think everyone's already summed up what takes the fun out of this game (mask, mouse off screen, seemingly inaccurate hitbox). One thing I didn't see mentioned was the fact that you can't even "touch" the land/pipes/stuffs. I could understand not getting "crushed"... but this extent of perfection when I can't even see where my cursor is.

Too bad too... it's a great idea with lovely graphics and a great soundtrack. I just don't enjoy dying & restarting, over and over, 50 times in under 3 minutes... not my idea of fun.

Gets REALLY good after level 500!!

Boring as ALL hell. Level 100 and I quit... there's NOTHING to do besides hold down space and move left to right... takes the MOST minimal amount of "skill" I've ever seen... someone let me know if it gets challenging after a few thousand levels... and then please shoot yourself.

Graphics were neat... music was not so much. Wish there was some gameplay here...

Tons of Fun!

I just wished the character didn't come to a stop every time he jumps... seems very out of pace for a speed-based game. I think it'd play a lot smoother without that... but I ASSUME there's a reason you made it that way... maybe?

Joelasticot responds:

...yes, yes of course

Could've been fun...

if the left/right movement wasn't SOOO damn touchy. Too hard to move the blocks where you want them to go... tap right, too far... tap left, too far....tap right... screw it. Forced me to give up almost immediately. Sorry.

Torn...

It was fun... and fairly original. However... it takes VERY little skill IMO to go as fast as possible, making the only way to lose based on luck of the terrain. I played it twice and both times I lost could not have been avoided... kinda made me not want to play anymore. Also wish the medals wouldn't pop up at the bottom of the screen, where ALL the focus is.

Alright I suppose.

Way too easy... I don't think you should be able to beat something like this on your first try with little effort. Too many health-ups perhaps?

Game also lagged consistently, which I've never had happen on Newgrounds before... slightly annoying.

Graphics were very ho-hum. Firepower was unimpressive.

Pure Addiction.

Been playing for weeks off & on... and just love it. After I got into it... I was MORE than willing to shell out the measly $5 for the premium content... I've purchased games at the store that I've enjoyed far less.

My ONLY nitpick is that there's no shortcut for dropping bombs on wave levels... "gem bombing mode" should work... but it doesn't.

Endurance + Giants Only + Multiple Damage = Awesome!
